Our Sauna Oasis
A city trip and wellness - that doesn't have to be a contradiction! Relax after your business meeting, your visit to the museum, or after an extensive shopping tour in our small but exquisite sauna oasis.
Our Sauna Oasis boasts a Finnish sauna, Kneipp pool, rain showers, and a relaxation area. It is open until 08.00 pm.
Pre-registration: Please report to reception one hour before going to the sauna.
Our guests are allowed to train at INDIGO Fitness Basel, the most exclusive fitness club in Basel. The INDIGO Fitness Club is about 400 meters from the GAIA Hotel and is located on the 9th floor of Baloise Park. The view is just as spectacular! No wonder, normally only annual members have access here.
For only CHF 35.00 you get one-time access to the INDIGO Fitness Club Basel. This is what you can expect at the INDIGO Fitness Club:
Opening hours:
Monday to Friday: 6:30 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.
Saturday, Sunday, public holiday: 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

In the Sauna Oasis, we offer treatments by external masseuses between Monday to Friday excl. public holidays. Our front reception will be very happy to organise an appointment for you!
